Yasir Mukhtar brings more than 20 years of accounting, audit, and tax experience to MYMCPA PC, with a career spanning Big Four public accounting, corporate internal audit, and private practice. Throughout his career, he has led complex engagements in internal audit, SOX compliance, financial reporting, risk management, and regulatory compliance across industries including healthcare, manufacturing, retail, and not-for-profit organizations.
His extensive background in financial reporting and corporate internal audit has given him deep expertise in evaluating internal controls, identifying operational and financial risk, and strengthening governance processes to help organizations operate more effectively and efficiently.
For the past five years, Yasir has led MYMCPA PC as Founder and CEO, delivering accounting, tax, audit, and advisory services to individuals, businesses, and not-for-profit organizations. His practice specializes in individual and business taxation, tax planning, not-for-profit accounting and compliance, financial statement audits, and advisory services — including representing clients in IRS and state tax audits and resolving complex regulatory and financial matters.
